Anderson Philander obtained his undergraduate degree in BSc Sport Science from the University of Stellenbosch (2009). He continued to pursue an Honours degree in Biokinetics at the University of Stellenbosch which he obtained in 2010.
Before joining the Maskell Biokineticists team in 2014, he had the privilege to do his biokinetics internship at a well-established private practice in Paarl, South Africa. Here he had the opportunity to continue to put into practice that which he was taught and to refine his skills by servicing a wide range of individuals, majoring in orthopaedic rehabilitation and chronic disease management.
Anderson appreciates working with a diverse range of cases and conditions across the scope of biokinetics. He is an avid runner and is therefore especially passionate about identifying and treating musculoskeletal conditions for optimal performance on the field or in everyday life. He prides himself in what he does, and always aspires to deliver quality service for all his patients.
Anderson is regeistered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a member of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA).
