Simon Maskell is a well experienced Biokineticist with a BSc (Med)(Hons) Exercise Science (Biokinetics) Honours Degree from the University of Cape Town (2007) and a B.Com Sports Management Degree at the University of Johannesburg (2006).
He completed his internship at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa in 2008. He continued to work in the Sport and Exercise Medicine practice, and the orthopaedics Biokinetics practice at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, where he performed extensive cardiac rehabilitation, chronic disease rehabilitation and orthopaedic injury assessment and rehabilitation.
In February 2010, he established his own Maskell Biokineticists practice in Cape Town, South Africa.
Simon is a registered member of the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a proud member of Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA) and was previously on the BASA Board in the Western Cape. He is a member of the South African Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) and Exercise is Medicine South Africa (EIM).
Simon is a member of to the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) and the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT).
Simon has gained great knowledge and experience in the field of Sports Medicine and Exercise Rehabilitation, with specialist knowledge in Orthopaedic, Cardiac and Chronic Disease Rehabilitation. Simon is passionate about wellness and lifestyle management in both the private and corporate setting. He now offers his services as a Biokineticist in London, United Kingdom.

Lorando Ressou obtained a BSc in Sport Science in 2008 and a Honours degree in Biokinetics in 2009 at the University of Stellenbosch. He completed his compulsory year of internship in the field of Biokinetics at the Sport Science Institute of South Africa.
Lorando has been part of the Maskell Biokineticists team since 2011 and a partner of Maskell Biokineticists – SA as of 2017.
During his years as a competitive sports man, he developed a great passion for injury rehabilitation and thus the field of Biokinetics was the most obvious direction for him as a career.
Lorando is a well experienced Biokineticist who specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation. He always brings a fresh and creative approach to his work. He is very versatile and enjoys all facets of Biokinetics which include correcting muscle imbalances, strength and flexibility testing, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic disease, spinal cord injuries, postural improvement and wellness management.

Anderson Philander obtained his undergraduate degree in BSc Sport Science from the University of Stellenbosch in 2009. He continued to pursue an Honours degree in Biokinetics at the University of Stellenbosch which he obtained in 2010.
Before joining the Maskell Biokineticists team in 2014, he had the privilege to do his Biokinetics internship at a well-established private practice in Paarl, SA. Here he had the opportunity, to continue to put into practice that which he was taught and to refine his skills by servicing a wide range of individuals, majoring in orthopaedic rehabilitation and chronic disease management.
Anderson appreciates working with a diverse range of cases and conditions across the scope of Biokinetics. He is an avid runner and is therefore especially passionate about identifying and treating musculoskeletal conditions for optimal performance on the field or in everyday life. He prides himself in what he does, and always aspires to deliver quality service for all his patients.
Anderson is registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a member of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA).
